Electrical/SW Engineer

 Job Description 

This position provides design and development support for new products, as well as manufacturing and sustaining support. The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to identify and develop design solutions for electro-mechanical devices and improved manufacturing assembly processes.

More specifically, this position will perform all aspects of electronic design from the initial feasibility stage to manufacturing release for next generation medical device equipment. This position will provide a high level of technical skill in the areas of schematic design, analysis, debug, and PCB layout. This position will be responsible for leading small-scale development efforts including all planning, scheduling, and documentation required for design control. This position requires the ability to work as part of a team or to be able to lead a small team depending on the project. This position will provide technical support for existing product lines, interface with vendors, PCB fabrication houses and test agencies. This position will be responsible for the design of experiments and writing technical reports.

Principal Mechanical Engineer

 Job Description 

This position contributes to all phases of the product development lifecycle including requirements, specifications, design, analysis, implementation, debug, verification, validation and manufacturing transfer. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to identify and develop design solutions for electro-mechanical systems and disposable medical devices.

The successful candidate will lead projects, provide support for existing product lines, and interface with suppliers, molding houses and test agencies. This position will require experience with medical device design control, material properties, design of experiments and writing technical reports. Sr. Clinical Research Associate (Sr. CRA)

 Job Description 

Potrero Medical is looking for an experienced Sr. Clinical Research Associate (Sr. CRA) to support all aspects of a clinical study operations. In this role, he/she would need to have extensive tactical experience with setting up clinical studies for a post-market device and interface very closely with engineering and marketing teams. As part of a small clinical team, he/she will have autonomous ownership over projects, and collaboratively work with the Director CA/RA with minimal supervision over day-to-day tasks. As is typical for a medical devices start-up he/she should expect to go beyond the typical CRA responsibilities, and enjoy cross-functional projects/roles.
